TECH PACK
This project takes inspiration from Arches National Park. It includes:

Curved inset pockets

Flat-felled vertical seams

A side tie design

A curved yoke based on the famous "Delicate Arch"
The sloper patterns were made in Optitex and fit-tested in CLO. The final pattern was created in Adobe Illustrator.
The project also comes with a technical packet.
A NEW LOOK AT MEDICAL SCRUBS
TEXTILE RESEARCH
The attached project illustrates my interests in textiles and sustainable alternatives. After reading the book To Dye For and realizing the environmental impact of common fabric finishes, I felt compelled to research alternatives for medical scrubs. Currently, most scrubs contain antimicrobial and stain-resistant finishes that have been shown to be toxic. For my project, I explored natural, non-toxic options like antimicrobial chitosan made from shellfish waste.
